When I first start working with new clients, one of the first things I ask them is "where are you currently spending your time?"
What follows is usually a disoriented incomplete sentence that sounds something like...
"Well, you know, I do a lot of different things that...well...you know...I feel like I'm busy all the time because...well...you know how it can be..."
Yes...yes I do know how it can be when I don't know where I'm spending my time...
ESPECIALLY when it feels like I don't have any time available.
Generally speaking, when I feel like I don't have time, I know it's time to see where I'm spending my time so I can free up some time.
ACTION:
There's an idea in physics called entropy...
It's essentially the tendency for an organized system to move toward disorder.
If you feel like you don't have time to do the things you want, it's because of entropy...your time has become disorderly.
Measure your time and where you're spending it so you can find and free up time and start accomplishing the things in life that matter most.
Until next time, here's to your 1% growth every day...
