One thing we learn from history is that we don’t learn from history. To help reverse this problem, I’m starting a new series called “Lessons from History”.

In today’s episode, we talk about the “vanishing” middle class…or, at least why politicians and the media talk so much about the supposed disintegration of the middle class. Statistics from history show us that the middle class is actually growing and expanding. So why do politicians and the media say otherwise?
