The other day I sent out an email about the procedure to creating discipline.
Like all other character traits, discipline is not necessarily a THING you do, but a set of procedures that then creates the trait.
So, if there are things that you need to do to create discipline, then there are also things you need to NOT do, as well.
The number habit to stay away from if you want more discipline in your life?
Hitting the snooze button (I also throw "setting multiple alarms" in the same bucket...because they serve the same purpose...putting off the work).
That's because hitting snooze literally starts your day with procrastination, which is the opposite of discipline.
It builds the habit of putting things off...which is NOT what you want if you want to achieve anything in life.
ACTION:
You have two options to overcome this habit...
#1) Get your ass up when your alarm goes off
#2) Get your ass to bed earlier so you don't feel the need to oversleep
I would employ both of these strategies if I were you.
