I was having a conversation this morning with a friend at the gym...
He's only 24 years old and, right now, is focused on being the best bodybuilder he can be because he knows that, when he's 30, he'll want to shift his attention to being a great father and husband.
"The hardest part is not being influenced by my parents, because they think I should drop bodybuilding and focus on my career and family now."
I told him that they want what's best for him, which is true, "but they also don't have to live your life. And, when the lights go out at the end of it all, you'll be only one that will have to live with any regrets."
ACTION:
Those around you that are giving you their opinion only want what's best for you based on their experience in life...not based on the way reality works.
The better you can separate those ideas and make your own decisions, the less likely you'll be full of regret at the end of your life.
Until next time, here's to your 1% growth everyday...

P.S.
I recently interviewed Lawrence Dunning, real estate investor and previous MMA fighter, about using risk/reward to live without regrets on the Good Wolf Project...CHECK IT OUT.
