Today’s conversation is with Toktam Thomas. Toktam is an immigrant from Iran, raised and lived in Germany for 26 years, moved to US 12 years ago. She was raised in a poor immigrant family, parents divorced, toxic family, mom drowned in vices. She had to raise herself, neglected by parents, physically & mentally abused. She started fighting with officials to live in an orphanage at age 10. At age 12 she finally succeeded and emancipated myself from my parents.

She swore to myself that she would be one of the kids that would NOT follow in the footsteps of their parents, so she created the woman and mother that she needed as a child. Today, she’s 41 and working on her PHD, started an online coaching business and is committed to help people to become the best version of themselves.​
