Most people focus on doing the minimum required to get a result...
If they want to get promoted, they do the minimum work necessary to (potentially) get noticed..
If they want to lose weight, they do the minimum dieting required to (potentially) drop a few pounds...
But most people also complain about not getting the promotion they wanted or not losing the weight they had hoped for.
The goal is not to hit the minimum requirement...at least, not the minimum requirement set by society. The goal is to set YOUR OWN minimum requirements based on YOUR standards and YOUR expectations for life.
ACTION:
The next time you feel yourself saying "that's good enough for today", push yourself to do AT LEAST 1% more than you did yesterday...because that 1% everyday adds up overtime.
