You Get What You Talk About Most

My lifting partner, Bob, is a captivating talker...

You know when you walk into a room and you see a group of people surrounding one person, and they're really caught up in what he has to say...well, Bob is that guy.

But Bob doesn't just talk to talk...at least not most of the time...

He talks about problems he's solved while he's putting deals together (he's in real estate investing)...

He talks about how he took an idea that he learned in the weight room and applied it to his business...

Most importantly, he talks a lot about what he plans to do in the future...

A trait that successful entrepreneurs have is that they think about and talk about the future often...

They talk about the plans they have to improve and get better, ways that they will grow their business, and possible problems that will show up along the way...as well as solutions to those problems.

Ironically, not too far into the future, as I've seen with Bob over and over again, most of their plans end up coming true...they have literally spoken their goals into existence.

ACTION:

The majority of people spend their time talking about other people and, therefore, never actually end up accomplishing anything themselves.

This is not a coincidence...

People who achieve things in life talk about the things they're going to achieve...and then they do them.

If you're not making any progress in life, ask yourself how much time you're spending talking about the future you want. You might be surprised by the correlation.
